74. African-American Genealogy: Forks Of The Roads

Yesterday the Indianapolis Star (Section B2) contained an article on a "Forks of the Roads" exhibit at Purdue University. The exhibit, at the Black Cultural Center through June 1st, takes a look at the slave trade around Natchez, Mississippi in the 1800's.
Interested genealogy researchers around Indy might take a drive up to Lafayette between 8 and 4 to view the exhibit. As an alternative, they could go to the website, which contains a great selection of topics on the slave trade, Underground Railroad, and related areas.
Looks like a fascinating exhibit and website.
