96. Curious State Library Online Feature

   If you go on an Indiana State Library computer, you can access the CompuGen webpage. This is a commercial site that seems an odd addition to the ISL.
   You can do a search for several items (as you can see below), but the search gives you very sketchy information, and to get the full record you have to do a PayPal transaction. I wondered why the State Library was shilling for a commercial site.
   With the Ancestry and Heritage Quest databases, the Library subscribes and furnishes the data without any patron charges required. I wonder if the ICPR gets a commission with every CompuGen transaction? Anyway, it didn't seem to me like CompuGen was a worthwhile ISL add feature. [I would have voted for Fold3 or FindMyPast!]
