A resident of Canton du Vaud, Switzerland in 1796, Jean Jacques DuFour and several other Swiss families immigrated to America in search of land to start a vineyard. His travels brought him to Vevay, Indiana, where he established the country’s first successful winery. Join us to learn more about these early Swiss immigrants.
