Irish and Scots-Irish Family Research Seminar

Co-hosted by the Indiana Historical Society and the Genealogical Society of Marion County
      Don’t miss out on this opportunity to attend an all-day Scots-Irish genealogical research seminar. Featured speakers are Fintan Mullan, director of the Ulster Historical Foundation, and Brian Trainor, former director of Northern Ireland’s Public Records Office. Topics will provide extensive information on sources available for tracing Irish and Scots-Irish ancestors in all parts of Ireland.     
      Among the topics will be the importance of place and administrative divisions, emigration records, church records, and the farming community.
