The Heritage
Place Genealogy Studies Group meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month
at 10:00 a.m. The group is lead by Rick France, Vice-President of the
Genealogical Society of Marion County, and is open to all levels of
genealogical experience – from raw beginners to advanced. The next meeting is
February 20th.
Mr. France and outside speakers
present topics to aid personal family research. Group members help each other
with their own experience and research.
This group is sponsored by Heritage
Place, which serves adults age 55+ with comprehensive human services –
education, learning, fellowship and community resources. It is located at 4550
North Illinois Street (southwest corner of 46th and Illinois
Streets).
The Genealogy Studies Group is free
to Heritage Place members or $5 per session to non-members. Annual memberships
