320. Genealogists Are Connectors

     I couldn't resist "borrowing" this cartoon from the Family Circus strip. [Hope they don't mind!] This is the way I see genealogy. It isn't really names and dates and places. It's really about connecting all those folks who share the same ancestry and DNA.
     I really loved my grandparents Joe and Lena Bowen, but my grandson Kyle will never know them--too much time separation. As I understand it, it's my job to connect these generations, to let him know them as I knew them.
     Everyone should do that for their grandparents and all those other greats. Get busy!!
