330. Hunters Moon Event Oct 5-6
If you had ancestors who lived on the Colonial frontier, I would suggest attending the Feast of the Hunters Moon Festival this next weekend in West Lafayette. You can get a real sense of what life was like in many of those 18th century outposts--plus it's a lot of fun for the whole family. I try to get up there every chance I get. Genealogy is History, and re-imagining your folks back there is an enjoyable (and eye opening!)experience.
