333. All-Scottish Culture Weekend Oct 12

In addition to the Genealogical Society of Marion County presenting a workshop on Scottish research next Saturday, the Scottish Society is having a Scottish Festival also. Can we do both? Let's give it a shot!

INDIANAPOLIS SCOTTISH
HIGHLAND GAMES AND FESTIVAL

You are there in 1540 Dumbarton as clans present their champions to
King James V and compete in amazing feats of power and agility.
The Fourth Annual Indianapolis Scottish Highland Games and Festival
will be held on 

October 12th, 2013 from 9AM to 9PM at German Park, 8600
South Meridian Street, Indianapolis.

Discount tickets available in advance on-line:

Adult (13 and up) $12 advance/$15 at the gate, child (5-12)
$5 in advance/$8 at the gate, child under 4 are free. See website for
senior, active military, and family discounts.
Five after Five Package: $5 admissions after 5PM and children 12 and
under are free. Stay late, the bands play until 9pm!
