351. GSMC Starts Beginners Classes Wednesday

Now that the Genealogical Society of Marion County is firmly established in their new home at Memorial Park Cemetery, they are featuring a series of research classes for beginning genealogists.
I will be teaching a class the third Wednesday of every month at the Library starting this week. Join us for "Newby U" at 1 pm. We will feature a short lesson first [I am an ex-schoolteacher after all!], then we will focus on YOU--your questions, your problems, your concerns. Having a good library collection right there will allow us to go where your requests take us.
So come on down--it's free, its convenient, its going to be right up your alley. And, if Wednesday afternoons are not right for you, the first Saturday of every month my associate Terry Prall will teach another beginners class, as we want to be there for you when you need us to be. I look forward to seeing you this Wednesday the 20th,  or Terry will see you on Saturday Dec. 7th. Gonna be some fun sessions!
