362. Greeting Cards Can Be Genealogy Sources

Many family members have exchanged greeting cards over the years, and most times they included tidbits about events in their lives. They talk about school stuff, births and deaths, travels, military moves, etc. If you find a cache of old cards, look through them before you toss them out--you might find some good family history.
Which brings us around to my wishing all of you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. It's been a good genealogy year around Indy, and 2014 promises to be even better. I hope to see you at all kinds of good family history events!
