Find the Truth Within Your Family Legends

As part of the One Book, Two Cities shared reading experience with Cologne, Germany, individuals of all ages are invited to learn how to uncover the truth behind family legends and stories, and how to integrate them into personal writing and research.

Special presenter will be Josh Taylor, host of the "Genealogy Roadshow" (PBS) and "Who Do You Think You Are" (NBC and TLC) and lead genealogist for Findmypast.com. 

This program will be held in Central Library's Clowes Auditorium.

In conjunction with the library's One Book, Two Cities program they are also going to hold 3 additional programs including:
  • Writing Your Family Story,
  • Preserving Family Photographs (with Joan Hostettler from our GSMC Nov conference)
  • Using Sanborn Maps to Research Family Genealogy.

These three topics are going to be repeated at several different times and locations throughout January and February.
