With the Hamilton County Genealogy Society currently on hiatus and considering revamping, genealogy in our northern neighbor is changing. While we wait on decisions from HCGS, helping to relieve the pain is a series of workshops at the Carmel Library. See below:

March 5, 12, 19, 26 & April 2  -  Finding Family,  5-week basic genealogy course at Carmel Library – everything from Ancestry to Court Houses,  Wednesdays,  10–12 a.m. taught in the Computer Lab on 2nd floor.  cost: free.  Space for 3 more attendees.  Register at 844-3362.  Sue Dillon, presenter.

April 23  -  “Resources at the Indiana State Library”, genealogy class taught at Carmel Library by librarian, Marian Corya,  Wednesday, 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.  watch for more details in upcoming library brochures.
