The Indiana Memory Project
Speaker: Chandler Lighty, Program Manager, Hoosier State Chronicles.

Come learn about how the Indiana State Library (ISL) is providing free, digitized, historical and cultural resources to help with your genealogy and local history searches.  ISL’s Indiana Memory offers hundreds of thousands of digitized items ranging from photographs, manuscripts, maps, and county histories.
Hoosier State Chronicles (HSC), Indiana’s digital newspaper program, another ISL initiative, is an officially endorsed Indiana Bicentennial Legacy Project.  HSC projects to have over 750,000 digitized newspaper pages available by the end of 2015, and over a million more pages freely available to Hoosiers through a partnership with Ancestry.
