On Aug. 17, 13 state agencies and 3 not-for-profits will take over the State Fair Boulevard at the Indiana State Fair. You can stroll along State Fair Boulevard to learn about Indiana’s past, present, and future.
Visit with the military reenactors, watch the demonstration of costumed interpreters, play a game, take a history and architecture trolley tour of the fairgrounds, learn some Hoosier facts, talk with a HAM radio operator, and discover what State agencies and not-for-profits have available to help you learn more about Indiana. But most of all have FUN.
To see a complete list of events happening at Hoosier Heritage Day, visit www.in.gov/dnr/historic during the month of August.
[Two of the non-profits are the Genealogical Society of Marion County and the Indiana Chapter, Palatines To America. Visit them and chat!]
