605. Dick Eastman Coming To Indy Oct. 3

            The Genealogical Society of Marion County is excited to announce that Dick Eastman is our featured speaker for our annual conference held at the Indiana Historical Society.  This is an all-day event with four detailed sessions, lunch, free parking and an opportunity to explore the Indiana Historical Society exhibits.   
           Dick will be speaking about Going Paperless, Using Evernote, Using Google and The Organized Genealogist.

            Dick Eastman is an internationally known genealogy writer and speaker.  He writes the daily blog “Eastman’s Online Genealogy Newsletter http://blog.eogn.com/ that focuses on the latest genealogy news and the use of technology in genealogy.
           He has been involved in genealogy for more than 30 years. He has worked in the computer industry for more than 40 years in hardware, software, and managerial positions. By the early 1970s, Dick was already using a mainframe computer to enter his family data on punch cards. He built his first home computer in 1980.
