Research Trip to Allen County Library November 7
The Indiana African American Genealogy Group and the Genealogical Society of Marion County are planning a research trip to the Allen County Public Library, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on Saturday, November 7, 2015. The bus will load at 7:30a.m. and it should return by 8:00p.m.
The Genealogy Center of the Allen County Public Library is the third largest genealogy repository in the United States. The Genealogy Center has more than 350,000 printed volumes, 513,000 microfilms and microfiche.
The bus trip will cost $30 per person. Registration and payment can be made on our website at www.GenealogyIndy.org using PayPal or by check sent to GSMC, 9370 E. Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46229.
Each registration should include the passenger’s name, address, telephone (preferably cell phone) and email address. Those wishing to pay by credit card may use PayPal, which is on the IAAGG website at iaagg.org. The payment deadline will be Saturday, October 19, 2015
We will need a minimum of 25 passengers for the trip to take place. If we have fewer than 25 reservations, the bus will be cancelled and we will carpool to Fort Wayne.
